Starting again

Hi again people!
Im so glad to write you after two months of inactivity. Last time was really special:

My campus was on strike, considering this context, I decided to culturize myself and assist to the campus. The strike was inspired on feminism, the cause of that I think is this patriarcal society.

I assisted to some assemblies and  I learnt things about the problematic of the patriarcal culture and the propositions of feminism. So in the strike I was learning too. But i had the impression that if i really wanted to learn more, i had the possibility, but as the weeks passed by, i started to do other things and took distance of the problematic. I had time to do my favorites activities this months, i skated a lot, read, met some friends and slept more than ever hahahah.

But i dont gonna lie to you, the principal reason to not assist enough times was me, only me.

It was a good period anyway, i read some texts  of mi career with patience, that served to restart with more knowledge mi career.

    Don't blame yourself, at least a big proportion of the students were resting (I include myself). Cheers.

    When our faculty was on strike, we all did something that is really neccesary for us: rest. I also enjoy that period of time to read all the books I wanted and to do sports.

Hi again! welcome to my blog, today I'm gonna tell you about my reasons to enter on my amazing career: sociology. When i was a boy, I wanted to be a football player, like the majority of my friends in my neighbourhood It was in my last year of school (2014) when i decided to study Arquitecture, bad choice because i like a lot to sleep, i left quickly (2015) In 2016 i entered to the Bachillerato program of Universidad de Chile. After i thought to study sociology but it was only one of my options there In Bachillerato i knew that I was going to like my present career and it was going to interest me more than any other of my options (Anthropology, Psychology), so that experience made me decide easily to be a sociology student. Stigmas

Hi people, welcome to my blog, today I am going to talk about stigmas. This is a subject that really upsets me, I am going to explain you why. I think, prejudices will always exist, it´s a way to adapt us to the world, to guide our actions, and it is useful in situations when you dont know what kind of people is involved, to take care of yourself. The problem is when some people has stigmas over a group and they don't take into account that they are more than that stigma. For example, people who think that a social movement is composed by offenders, tend to hate them, before getting to know them. They consider that  if a person is part of that group, that person has the caracteristics that they attribute to that group. I believe people are more complex than that. They have different types of personalities, experiences, interests, backgrounds, and more, all this things combined make you who you are, and not just  your ethnic or social origin, belonging group, clothing, or fr...

Sociological theory

My favourite subject this semester was "teorías sociológicas de la sociedad moderna", because  I enjoy a lot to learn theorys about the human. I am not sure why I love so much this kind of contents, maybe is because I always analyze social realities and this theorys give me elements to understand better lots of things that previously, I did not understand. It´s great for me to enjoy the sociological theory, because for that reason I am convinced that to study sociology was a really great choice, I am learning what I want to know and it is giving to me the tools to do better what I do for real interest. The subject I am talking about, was focused on modern society (authors of the interaccionism, phenomenology, school of Chicago, and functionalism), I think that was a continuation of the classical theory, I like a lot that the authors are always taking elements from other theorys, so the konwledge seems to be acumulative.
